Doubters like Wheeler Winston Dixon, Ryan professor of film studies at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, however, fret that converting a movie to 3-D "undercuts the quality of the film and the verisimilitude of the film." As the debate churns, audiences can expect to see more movies undergoing conversions.
