Wildfire PR, a public relations consultancy for information technology, telecoms,Office 2007 Product Key, consumer technology, and B2B companies, reported that IT specialists were most likely to turn to social communities or search engines than to online news or industry presses when doing research for IT purchasing decisions. Social networks and online communities were ranked the most useful information resources by 58% of IT decision makers,Office Standard 2007 Key, followed by search engines,Office 2010 Keygen, online news resources, and IT industry press resources.

The study also found that IT print publications are becoming less popular, and a quarter of all IT professionals surveyed said they got most of their IT news online. For both regular news and IT news, the respondents' most popular sources were online. All of the surveyed IT pros were U.K.-based.
