　　中医称西瓜皮为“西瓜翠衣”，是清热解暑、生津止渴的良药。
　　把西瓜皮焙干，研末外用可治口疮。
　　西瓜皮解暑清热、开胃生津，其含糖不多，适于各类人群食用。
　　1、消暑利尿
　　将去掉外层硬皮的西瓜皮切成小块或小条，入水煮沸，加番茄、鸡蛋和调料，喝汤食瓜皮。
　　2、夏季痤疮
　　绿豆100克,光波炉厂家，加水1500毫升，煮汤，沸后10分钟去绿豆，将洗净的西瓜皮(不用削去外皮)500克放入再煮，煮沸后 冷却。
　　饮汤，一日数次。
　　方中绿豆甘凉，可消肿下气、清热解毒;西瓜皮甘寒，可清热解暑、除烦止渴。
　　3、健脾消暑
　　新鲜西瓜皮100克，大枣10枚，共煎汤，每日当茶饮,光波炉。
　　4、暑热伤肺、身热口渴、干咳无痰或便秘
　　鲜扁豆、鲜蛇舌草各50克，鲜荷叶60克洗净，海蜇200克，西瓜皮500克，丝瓜250克，洗净切块 ，共入沙锅武火煮沸后,光波炉和电磁炉的区别，文火煲1小时，调味后饮汤吃海蜇,加湿器批发价格。每天1剂。
　　5、壮阳
　　西瓜皮切丝，开水焯后捞出，与熟鸡丝、瘦肉丝加调料食用。
