When I am working outside in trenches, snow , ice, rain, hard packed or loose dirt, mud, etc.I have found these boots to be the absolute best.I have tried many different brands. I bought these boots in a 10.5W and added a very rubbery high arch insole made by a different quality boot manufacturer and put it in the boot along with the Timberland insole and I wear thick wool socks. No matter how many hours I work. The bottom of my feet are not dry and cracked anymore either. I should also add that I ride quads(ATV) on the weekends so I bought a second pair of these boots just for riding and they are holding up very well.
