I live in the great Pacific Northwest where it RAINS RAINS RAINS. Barbours are not common up her due to the superiority of the high tech fabrics that operate well in this climate. Barbours are certainly more attractive than some of the high techs womens air jordan heels , but would never stand up to a Patagonia or Mountain Hard Wear product in the wind and rain that we deal with. Now in a drizzly evening for a walk with the dogs....hummmm. And man they do look good with a sportcoat. My brother has mine as that waxed cotton does not breathe when you are an active person in the elements. Yes, it keeps the rain off and locks the sweat in air nike heels , and so I am sticking with my high techs. When I become less active sneaker heels nike , then a Barbour is for me.
