Gabrielle taught herself to sew when she was still in grade school. "I started hand sewing at 9 or 10, then I started using my mom's old sewing machine at 11," she said. "When I turned 12, I got a new machine for Christmas."

incorporates into her designs. "I'm still learning, so I plan to go to design school," she said. "I want to learn the construction end, as well. From start to finish, Gabrielle estimates it takes between 10 and 12 hours to complete a dress.

"They're really supportive and excited." Gabrielle says her friends are also patient, since they're the ones who she tests everything out on.
"She's so incredibly enthusiastic, focused and organized," Rehbock said. "This is a fun and unique opportunity for me to support a Los Gatos gal."
