A gala fundraising event to help perpetuate the Aleut culture saw its success as art pieces and cultural items were auctioned to Rosetta Stone Russiancollectors statewide during a gala held on March 26.The event called "Capture the Culture" was the first of what its organizers are calling an upcoming annual happening with silent and live auctions. Rosetta Stone SwedishThis gala "black-tie" event was held at the "Unangam Ulaa" (Home of the Aleuts) on InternationalCheap rosetta stone Airport Road in Anchorage."I see this as an annual event," said Dimitri Philemonof, president and CEO of the Aleutian Pribilof Islands Association.
